Everybody Talks

People will always have something to say; it is just a matter of if they say it to your face or to someone else. When the latter is the case, most times you don’t find out about it. Call it the funeral effect… we all have opinions that roll through our heads like tidal waves and flood our minds at a thousand miles a minute. Does that mean we should necessarily express all our thoughts; I think not. Finding out the harsh realities of what others believe tends to be soul crushing, but that is the importance of standing firm in what you want to do and showing others what you want them to see.

Recently I wrote about the constant war we must fight in our head, and to that point, we must learn to reprogram ourselves to take negativity and repurpose these thoughts as fuel for ambition. Much like a car, Angela Cecilia wrote,

“ You can’t expect to move forward if your emergency break is on”.

The fight or flight instinct has to be triggered sometimes to inspire action. Determination, motivation, and emotion all have one thing in common: they are the impulse to provoking exertion. No matter how that fire in your belly is sparked, it is the willingness to do something about it that makes it a reality.

Looking past the what if telescope allows you to see a sky full of light that is often backed by darkness. The brightest stars are those that go through nuclear fusion; pushing out hot gasses and fighting the pull of gravity. The common force – much like the opinions of others – tends to pull things down. We get to choose to what capacity the beliefs and emotions of others orbit in our atmosphere. By redirecting the negative, we open ourselves to the possibility of going beyond our self-imposed ceilings.
