Misguided Perspective

What we see isn’t always the truth, and there is often a part of every story we don’t know. It is the nature of the beast to assume what goes on in the life of others, but that does not necessarily mean it is factually a reality. The stories we create in our heads are limitless and our imaginations run rampant. Recently people talk about fake news, and truth be told, everybody is a reporter because of some form of bias they have from being human. What matters is addressing these fallacies to better grasp intellectual knowledge based on what is rather than what might possibly be.
Of course it is easier to look at social media or just people watch and run around saying something is so because of how it looks. In law and journalism that is called slander, but in Spanish it is referred to as the chisme “gossip” mill. Words are powerful in more ways than one. If you say something to someone’s face you are rolling the dice with a higher chance of getting the truth about a situation from the source rather than pulling information from the figment of your imagination. On the other hand, the universe has an odd way of pulling a reverse card on you no matter what it is you do so it is best to avoid speaking ill of people behind their backs. Life is like Leonardo da Vinci’s mirror room, you can see something an infinite number of times with only one real version at the center of everything.
