The Cocktail of Dating

Mixology is a topic that comes up a lot. For every drink is made up of a perfect harmony that ignites your tastebuds and brings some form of sensory pleasure. It could be a sweet and fruity drink with a dainty appearance or a salty and savory concoction with a kick. Just like with dating, every person has a preference. For those who don’t partake in this particular activity, you still make a choice, what beverage speaks to you.

In general, when people think of  celebration, there is a bottle of bubbly somewhere nearby. Once the cork is popped, the fizz settles, and the boozy aftertaste is left. Dating is — in a nutshell — the parallel of Champaigne. At the beginning, being with the person is appealing, new, and gives you a buzz. When time passes, the bottle needs to be iced and shaken up.

What seems to be the biggest challenge today, is picking a drink off the menu and opening the bottle. Instead of letting the wine age, consumers are looking for instant gratification. There is a lack of challenge with unscrewing the cork and savoring the moment. The bouquet and aromas don’t have time to surface because before you know it, the glass is empty. Whether it is dating or alcohol, both are meant to be enjoyed in a tasteful manner.
